THE UAE ANDUKRAINIAN TRADE CENTER. MR. AL- HAIDAN SAID THAT THE PURPOSE OF

Azarov has entrusted the appropriate
ministrieswith the assignment
toprepare proposals for further
expansionof Ukraine – Emirates
cooperation, including settingupof theUAE
Embassy inUkraine and renewal of thework of
Intergovernmental Ukraine – Emirates Trade and
Economic Commission.
“Weplan to setup theUAEEmbassy inUkraine
and this isoneof our today’spriorities. However,we
lackdiplomaticpersonnelwithproper experience
whowouldbeable towork inUkraineand inother
countries. I amgoing todiscuss this issuewithour
Ministerof ForeignAffairs”– saidMr. Al-Haidan.
Representatives of the delegation stated
their interest towards cooperationonUkraine’s
preparation for the 2012 European Football
Championship. Thiswasmentionedduring
themeetingwith the ForeignAffairsMinister
ArseniyYatsenyuk. This primarily goes for the
implementationof investment projects on
development of the country’s infrastructure.
“Our country owns andmanages airports and
sea ports inmany countries and all of them are
quite profitable. Also, it is quite clear that we
needdirect air service betweenUkraine and the
UAE”– saidMr. Al-Haidan.
Theparties agreed that it is essential to
maintain thepolitical dialog at ahigh level, as
well as strengthen the cooperation in trade
