Trade Center in the Gulf areawas
registered by Dubai Department
of Economic Development onMay
30, 2005, upon solicitation of Mr.
Mutaiwee, Director General of
Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry
and after the approval by the Court of His
Highness, the Ruler of Dubai. The Trade Center
has the status of a non-profit organization.
UkraineTradeCenter is a legally independent
and separateentitywith the right of conducting
economic activities. TheTradeCenter is directly
managedby the Director General - during the
registrationof theorganization, his name is
entered into the license text.
TheTradeCenter has the right to rent
officepremises pursuant to theUAE’s existing
legislation. Given the availabilityof theoffice
premises, UTChas the right toprovide15
employment visas (residence visas) for its
employees, pursuant to the staffmembers list
approvedby the LaborMinistry.
In theopinionofMr. Sergey Pachkovsky,
Director General of UkraineTradeCenter, the
TradeCenter is instrumental indeveloping trade
relations betweenUkraine, theUAE andother
Gulf countries, easing access to the localmarkets
for Ukrainiangoods, industrial enterprises and
commercial companies aswell as in attracting
investments intoUkrainianeconomy.
Mr. Pachkovsky says: “Wehaveperformed
a thoroughmarket study and found that trade
potential betweenUkraine andGulf countries
is veryhigh, thereforewehave chosenDubai as
our base for development and strengtheningof
trade relations”. TheTradeCenter is representing
the interests of UkrainianChamber of Commerce
and Industry and its 27 regional branches.
At present, themanagement of theTrade
Center is planning toorganize apermanent
exhibition of Ukrainiangoods. Ukrainehas a
significant intellectual and industrial potential
and is rich inmineral resources and rawmaterials
