moredynamicdevelopmentofbusinesscontacts

beneficial cooperationbetweenour countries keep

forumsorganized inUAEmoreandmoreoften.

the International forum“Leaders inDubai –2006”
noted theparticipationofUkrainiandelegation
in thisvery representative forum. AnatoliyZlenko

For the second time, he tookpart in this leadership

now that youhavebecomea regularparticipant
of the said forum?

diplomat since1967.He
worked in the International
OrganizationsDepartment
ofMFAofUkrSSR, in the
SecretariatofUNESCO, hewas
a resident representative in
theUN,UkrainianAmbassador
toFranceandPlenipotentiary
AmbassadorofUkraine to
Portugal Republic (combined
jobs). In1990 -1994, and
in2000–2003, hewas the
Ministerof ForeignAffairsof
Ukraine. SinceDecember2003,
AnatoliyZlenkohasworked
asUkraine’sRepresentative
inUNCommissiononHuman
Rights. In January2005, hewas
electedVice-Chairmanof the
UNHumanRightsCommission.
At this timehe isalsoAdvisor to
thePrimeMinisterofUkraine.

popular and important. It gathers representatives
ofmanycontinents. This year, 1,800delegates
from40countries tookpart in this forum.
–What ismeant todayby “New tendencies in
global development”andwhat is the leadership
phenomenon?What is itsplace in themodern
worlddevelopment?Wouldyou, please, saya few
wordsabout it?
–Newdevelopment tendencies have their
primary focus on theeconomy. Once again they
prove that noeconomic system canbe strong
without political foundation. Americandiplomat
andpolitical scientist Henry Kissinger also
emphasizes this idea.
Inparticular, forumparticipants spokeabout
certain leadingworldcompanies taking these
tendencies intoaccount anddescribedhow they
became successful in the inceptionphaseof their
businessand in furtherdevelopment. Certainly, it
isnecessary toconsider thepolitical basis,which
supportsbusinessdevelopment regardlessof
theplaceofbusiness. Skillful combiningof all
theseaspects togetherwith formalizationof the
